I have signed up for the Summer learning journey and today I did the teaser activity.
The task was to use art colouring book and recreate a famous artwork in our own colours. I chose The Watermelons by Diego Rivera.
The original by Diego Rivera 1957
When painting this he mixed sand in his oil paints.
The Wacky Watermelons by Amelia Osborn 2020
I chose these bright colours because Summer reminds me of brightness.
If you were going to recreate this art what type of colours would you use?
