Awesome animation!

Kia Ora,

For reading me and 2 of friends have been doing a animation a a book called Rodrick Rules by Jeff Kinney.

We are still working on it so it is not complete. The hardest part was moving the Greg (aka the boy with the hair that is a small tuft) and changing the scenes around. The best part was putting the sunglasses on Manny when he was on the moter bike:)

What is your fave book? Have you read this book yet? Do you like Diary of a wimpy kid?

Here is the animation:)

Super SOL.

Kia Ora,
For Inquiry we were doing a SOL. Our SOL was about rejuvenation and we could present it in an Adobe, poster, slide and Biteable. I choose a Biteable and added some images to it.

Have you made a Biteable before? Have you done a SOL?

It was really fun because I like Biteables. The hardest part was fiding the information because it kept coming up with Skin rejuvenation clinic and that is not that helpful.

The source for the images was Classic FM and CCN. The source for the video was Biteable.

Here is the video, hope you enjoy.

Name bug.

Greetings,

For my Maths this week we have been learning about co-ordinates, transformation, translation, fotation and reflection.  For one of the extra tasks, we had to watch a drawing tutorial. First we had to fold the paper in half and then write your name. Then we had to trace on the other side and colour it in. It comes out looking like some interesting style of bug!

It was very fun and I enjoyed it.

The hardest part was tracing it because my hands got sore.

 Have you made this art?

Stuff I have been doing.

Greetings,
Yesterday I made some LEGO and drew a picture. The LEGO was made by scratch and the picture was from a tutorial. I drew a Minecraft fox, and my LEGO creation was a Unicorn.

My next drawing will be a pig. The hardest thing with my drawing was that I had to do it lightly.

My next LEGO creation will be a cat. The hardest thing with my LEGO was that I had to find all the same pieces and not have missmatch colours.

What have you made with LEGO? What have you drawn? What have you been doing latley?

Super Sofia

Hi,
In literacy we have to made another information report and I decided to choose Sofia Carson because she is a really cool actress.

I made it on a Adobe Spark.

It was really fun to make and my fave part was when I got to put it onto the Adobe Spark.

What have you done for writing? What have you done for literacy? Have you made an Adobe Spark before?

Cool cooking!

Hello,
Tonight I asked my Mum if I could help with dinner and she said yes, so I made a pie. The pies that we make in lockdown say thing like COVID-19, and we made one of these lockdown pies.

It said: "Level 2 baby, yay!"

I cut up the mushrooms and also the onion. I also put them in the pie, and covered the pie in egg to make it golden brown.

Have you made pie with a message on it? Have you made any pies? Have you made any cooking in lockdown?

Art Attack!

Hello, Today I did some art and I actually did 2 pieces! One was a flower and the other one was a One point perspective.

The flower was based on a picture and was done in watercolour, and it was based off a tutorial on youtube.

The other was made with pastel and acrylic paint.  It is a one point perspective piece of art and I followed another tutorial.

Do you like them? Have you done one of these before? I hope you watch them and then try yourself.

Mr Map.

Hi,
Last week we were doing some Geometry and we made a map with co-ordinates and instructions.

It was really fun making the map and drawing it! Have you made a map? Have you made the same map as me? Here is the slide we had to complete.  Can you follow the instructions to find the treasure?

I hope you enjoy it!

Art time

Kia ora,
Today I made an piece of art called 'Girl looking into another dimension'. I followed a tutorial - here is the link to the video:) Art!

I found the smudging of the pastels to make them blend, the hardest bit.  I also had a problem when the pen would not work on top of pastel, but we problem solved that!

I am really proud of my final piece of art.

Have you made something like this before? Have you made some art in lockdown? I hope you like it.

Slow, Super Sloths - what do you know?

Kia ora,
For literacy we have been learning about information reports and we got to choose a animal. I chose Sloths as I love them an think that they are really fascinating.

I wanted to create this in an exciting way, so I learnt how to use Adobe Slate.

I hope that you learn something new when you read my report.  What was your favourite fact?  Do you have an animal that you really like and know lots about?

Beautiful barre

Hey bloggers,
For my dance I have to have barre work, and at the moment all of our lessons are online.  So since I am at home, I have had to use a really high chair! So my clever Grandad made me one and dropped it over today.  I had to sand it down so it was not rough, and then it was my job to paint it all.  I had to two coats and make sure that I did not leave any drips to dry.

I can't wait for it to dry, then I can practise my barre work!

Do you have any other lessons that you have to do online other than school?
See you soon!

Venice Vibes!

Kia ora,
Today for my blog post I did a drawing and it was called a One point perspective. It was really fun and it wasn't to hard. I thought that I would make it look like it was made in Venice because it had a water road instead of a normal road. Have you made a One point perspective drawing? What was your theme? Did you enjoy it? My one took about an hour because in the middle of making it I went out to go somewhere. I really liked that she told me that you should do a Y for the starting of the tree and then draw other Y's to make it look like a tree, and then thicken it out!
Ka kite, Bye, See you next time!^﹏^
