Name bug.

Greetings,

For my Maths this week we have been learning about co-ordinates, transformation, translation, fotation and reflection.  For one of the extra tasks, we had to watch a drawing tutorial. First we had to fold the paper in half and then write your name. Then we had to trace on the other side and colour it in. It comes out looking like some interesting style of bug!

It was very fun and I enjoyed it.

The hardest part was tracing it because my hands got sore.

 Have you made this art?

  1. Hi there Amelia
This is a cool piece of art that shows symmetry, so some Art and Maths at the same time! I really like the colours that you used. Did you do the rest of the task about rotation, translation and reflection?

  4. Hi Amelia Bella Here,

I really like your Bug and the various patterns that you created. I also love the colours and detail you incorporated to your design, it is very creative and strategic. Coordinates and Translations are so much fun, and I really enjoyed doing them when I was in Korimako. I love reading your Blog Posts because you always add a lot of detail and that is really important to engage your readers. How long did your Bug take you to create? Maybe I should try to create my own!

Have A Great Day Bella :)
