Venice Vibes!

Kia ora,
Today for my blog post I did a drawing and it was called a One point perspective. It was really fun and it wasn't to hard. I thought that I would make it look like it was made in Venice because it had a water road instead of a normal road. Have you made a One point perspective drawing? What was your theme? Did you enjoy it? My one took about an hour because in the middle of making it I went out to go somewhere. I really liked that she told me that you should do a Y for the starting of the tree and then draw other Y's to make it look like a tree, and then thicken it out!
Ka kite, Bye, See you next time!^﹏^

You are far cleverer at art than I am .I am hopeless at drawing.

  3. Great art Amelia! The skills that you have learned here will make your future drawings come to life. I have done a few of these with my classes over the years for Calendar Art. Usually a lonely road in the country with power lines, a railway line and an old shack. I also liked the way that you rendered your colors to make objects appear round. Another good skill to have.

  4. Awesome perseverance today Amelia! It was tricky in parts, but you had such a good attitude towards it, and even managed some laughs. What do you think you would draw next?

  5. Great work Amelia, I really like how you added your own spin to the task by making the road a canal in Venice. It reminds me of when I went there. Would you like to visit Venice one day?
That is a great tip about the Y!
