Kia Ora Bloggers! How's your day going? This literacy we have been doing Kiwi Innovators and me and Charlotte made an Animal sensor. We made the design on Tinkercad. when the sensor goes off the bowl comes out. I really enjoyed doing this and I am excited for next week. we have swum over the net over this week and next week so we do a lot in literacy groups.

This week was our last week of Cybersmart and today our task was to make a game, animation or explanation on scratch. I made a game called Bean Moving where you can move right, up and down to try and catch the bread. It was a really fun task and I want to do it again so badly! If the game doesn't work you can go onto scratch and search Zleam up and look at it from there. I hope you have a Good Day!

Kia Ora! This week we did speeches for literacy we did our speeches. We had the choice to either video it or do it out loud if your video that you wouldn't have a chance to get in the finals but if you didn't video wish then you would have a chance to get in. I got in and the finals were today. Most of the people were girls and there were only 3 boys! It was really scary but I did it. Thank you to Mrs Kerin, Mum, Dad, Nana and Gran for helping me. Here's my speech:)

Kia Ora! Are you having a good day? This term our inquiry is about Young Entrepreneurs and so we are learning about kiwi innovators and what they built. My favourite was the Zorb. Me and Stella did this together but she is making the board game so I started the next slide. I really like the activities in the slide and now I want to go on the Zorb for myself! Kia Ora! Welcome back to my blog. This week is Cultural Diversity week so for our literacy, we have been doing tasks based on different cultures. Me and my friend Charlotte have created this slide together on 3 countries. Sorry that only 2 counties have the QR code to scan to listen to the slides being red by us, we ran out of time. Kia Ors bloggers!
Today Me and my friend Mabel wrote a story about two girls who were very different going to space together. It has 6 chapters so far, but we are still writing it. So check back often to read our story! I really liked writing it with Mabel because we both have good ideas. Mabel is the person who did the Maori Commands screencastify which we did later on my blog. I wrote all the chapters with Astro and Mabel wrote About Buttons.
Our sources were our brains and google docs. When I did this with Mabel I found it really fun and enjoyable. We both had brilliant Ideas and we never disagreed with each other. I can't wait to finish the story off. Have you ever written a story with a friend? What can we improve?
Kia Ora Bloggers! I hope you have been having fun in your bubble because I definitely have. I have been drawing more than ever now since we are in lockdown and this week I decided to challenge myself with a Disney drawing tutorial. I loved drawing Stitch from Lilo and Stitch because he is so cute and so fun to draw. This week I think I'm going to draw the Genie from Aladdin because it was so fun drawing Stitch. Kia Ora! Are you having a good lockdown? I definitely am, because I have been baking with my friends! No, I haven't been inside other peoples bubbles! But, I have been on google meet and baked with them:) It was really fun and so we made a group called The Covid Chefs. We meet 1-2 times a week at 4.00pm and we all bake/cook stuff. The group includes Me, Holly, India, and Emily C. I'm really excited for the next time we bake together. BTW, if you are looking at Emily C's blog and you are wondering who Mealz is it's my nickname:). So here are some pictures of our first bake! Bye.

Kia Ora! Are you having a good lockdown? I hope you are:). In my google meet with my literacy class Mrs Kerin said we would do 1 independent task on our Maori food slides. I chose, Create your own Potato digging tool. I made it on pixel art. It was really fun and I liked creating the tool. I think that if you like art you would love this. So here's my slide:3

Kia Ora! In literacy, we have been learning about the Tokyo Olympics. I, Mabel and Charlotte are doing it on Luuka Jones who does a sport called canoe slalom. W e are doing it for two weeks and we are also doing it on a Google site. We have to make a site on a New Zealand athlete so we chose Luuka Jones. Do you remember my last blog post? Well, Mabel and I have now made a screencastify about the Maori commands and 3 more ones we have learnt. It was really fun and I enjoyed it a lot. Our new ones are Rarangi atu, Rarangi mai and Rarangi ki whaho. Have you ever commanded someone in Maori? Our sources were the same as last week. See ya later!
This term, every morning we learn how to pronounce some Te Reo Maori. This term we have been learning Maori commands like Kia Tere, Kia Tau and Kia Tupato. Then you were allowed to make an animation showing all the commands you have learnt. My friend Mabel and I made this commands slide and added a new command to put us in the teacher's good books! It was Taihoa which means wait. I really liked making the characters and animating them. My sources were: Charat Genisis and Google Slides.
