Lock down data detectives.

Hi,
Do you know the food groups?
The groups are Meat, Grains, Dairy, Fruits and Veggies.
For my Math task I did a lock down detective activity and this week it was putting your food into the food groups.
This is my slide I made with all the information on it.

  1. Thats some great detective work! Were the numbers correct at the start of the exercise or the end? Did you eat anything while you were making your slides?

    1. Hi Al,
Thank you for the comment. No I did not eat anything while making the slide and I do not understand the part where the numbers are different.

      Could you let me know?
      Amelia.

  2. What a great exercise, Amelia. I was interested to see that meat was the largest category, especially as you are not fussed on meat! I liked how you analysed the results and gave really good reasons for fruit and dairy being low. Well done!

  3. This is brilliant Amelia. The analysis of the results and the conclusions you reached were really interesting.
But was there any wine or beer in the fridge and how did you categorise these.

  4. Hi Amelia,
This is a well presented statistical investigation and I really like how you have stated reasons why in your conclusions. This data would change day to day and I know we get short on fruit and veges too until shopping day.
