ReplyDeleteThis is excellent and it taught me things that I didn't know so very well done. Just a small correction. It was your Mum's great great great great grandparents who were on the Randolph. When you are next down in Timaru I can show you some history of them if you are interested.

ReplyDeleteWhat fantastic work you have done on your family history! It makes great reading. Maybe some time you could go to Lyttelton and see Sutton Reserve which is named after your Great Great Gandfather.
You may also like to research Brenchly Farm, Lyttelton, where his family first settled when they arrived in NZ.
