H'lo,
Today I did the Fake or real task from Summer Learning Journey. In lockdown we often guessed if the person on the screen was behind a real place or a Zoom background. Sometimes it would be obvious that Zoom back ground from all the glitching. The task was to play a Fake or Real game and click the picture that was real and it would say if right or wrong. I got this one right bacause I could tell the the lady was not fake. I hope you like my work:)

Great Amelia, I will give this a try. A good technique is to look at the edges of the body to see if there are any fuzzy bits.
ReplyDeleteMōrena Amelia, Kiana-Marino here from the summer learning journey.
ReplyDeleteI hope you had a wonderful Christmas and New Years. Awesome to see you have been blogging over these holidays.
The “real or fake” game sounds like lots of fun. During lockdown I spent a lot of time on zoom so i think that would make it a lot easier for me to identify which is real and which is fake. Was that the case for you too?
Keep up the awesome work, I will keep an eye out on my emails for your comment reply.
Ngā mihi,
Kiana-Marino

DeleteThat would be thae same for me as the background Zoom are really glitchy!
Have a good day!

Hi Amelia
ReplyDeleteI have been enjoying reading your blog and was pleased to see you had done the activity I posted (you will have seen me in the video!).
Did you keep track of your score and how did you go out of ten?
I was impressed that you were able to transfer learning from Zoom backgrounds to this task. It is important to make these connections and you will get better and better at identifying fakes.
