Blanket fort fun!

Hello, My last task:( for Summer learning journey was the blanket fort/camping games. I chose the blanket fort one (kick start) and made one that was cool. I thought that it looked pretty good and it was really easy. My sources were my tripod, my mum's phone (because the other one didn't have any battery left), pillows, blankets and chairs. I hope you enjoy my picture! Goodbye SLJ! :(:(:(:(

  1. Kia ora Amelia,

Fiona here from the Summer Learning Journey. Now that is an awesome looking blanket fort you have built - ka pai! It looks really comfy in your fort with those nice big pillows! What do you think you will get up to in your blanket fort?

This activity reminded me of the blanket tents I used to build in the lounge room when I was little. I think my mum got a bit cross because we used to mess up all her folded sheets and tie them together with knots for the roof. It was so much fun!

As we are now coming to the end of the Summer Learning Journey I would love to know which SLJ activities have been your favourite?

Keep up the fantastic mahi at school this year!

    Mā te wā,
    Fiona (SLJ).

  2. You looked very comfortable in your fort this morning Amelia. It looks well designed and comfortable. I'd say Smudge the cat would like to curl up in there during the day. Well done on completing all the learning challenges over the summer.
