Hello, this week in Literacy we were doing explanation writing. Me and Izzy wrote all the information and Holly helped with the measurment. I really liked doing the work on Tsunamis because it helped me identify what a Tsunami looks like and what to do if you find one. The Earthquakes slide wasn't as good as the Tsunami one because we did more work on it. Have you ever seen a Tsunami? Hope you enjoy!

Hello Amelia. It was good being able to talk to you in the weekend about this study, and to see how interested you were in my story about the Tsunami I experienced when I was your age. Yes, when I was 10 years old and a pupil at Sumner School, I experienced a Tsunami. In those days they were just called tidal waves. Mt story is a bit too long for here, but I will email it to you.
