NZ Sign Language Week

 Kia ora,

This week in NZ it is Sign language week and in literacy we were doing a task that ment we had to tell everyone the alphabet in Sign language. I did I with Mabel and Aliah. We made a slide with the alphabet. It took us half and hour-ish.

It was really fun and I enjoyed it. Do you know sign language?  Here is the slide:)

  1. Well done. You might like to Google 'Santa talks to girl in sign language' and see how Santa was able to communicate with a deaf child. It is heart warminng.

  3. Kia ora Amelia, well done on your sign language slide. I have done a blog post on sign language week too! I enjoyed learning about sign language, it is very different to our language but it is still a NZ language. I had to spell out my name and we leaned the alphabet. I like how you set out your slide it is easy to see what you are doing and what letters you are spelling with your hands.

    Happy Friday Amelia! - Italy
